COOPERATION
“BELIEVERS FOR PEACE” IS A GROUP OF BELIEVERS FROM ABRAHAMIC TRADITIONS WHO ARE INSPIRED BY THEIR FAITH IN BUILDING PEACE AND NONVIOLENT ACTION.
Although the group is an inspiration and a refuge for its members, the vision of its members is a society of consensus, with a horizontal structure, where intergenerational cooperation in advocating for peace is visible. Believers for peace want a society in which individuals will have priority rights and responsibilities in peacebuilding, but also religious and other institutions that will be active in the same direction, and open to change and adjustment.
Cooperation with YFCC
In occasional collaborations, we design and set up interactive exhibitions that encourage reflections on current issues, issues of our own spirituality, and topics related to tradition or religion in which we want to provide a new perspective. The exhibitions have an interactive component that encourages visitors not to remain passive observers, but become active participants through creative expressions, through the contribution of their own thoughts, reflections on certain issues, tasting, smelling or other ways.
Since we have been connected with YFCC from the very beginning through a mutual support, we always find new ways of cooperation.
Cooperation with LUČ from Berak
The LUČ (Tea Light) Association is continuously developing activities in the field of peace building in Berak and surrounding places
using the ability of locals to engage in joint activities in which they see the realization of their own specific interests. This way, they can meet, socialize, and through socializing and concrete activities change the atmosphere of intolerance into a culture of coexistence.
For several years in a row, Intero Center has been striving to support the work of LUČ, especially in the preparation and implementation of an inter-religious prayer for peace that brings together believers of different religions from the region of Eastern Slavonia in Croatia.
